Unity Bank Small Business Lending Program Recognized on NJ.com

Unity Bank, a subsidiary of Clinton-based Unity Bancorp, recently closed on two rounds of federal funding for local small businesses totaling $130 million as the pandemic has ravaged the Garden State's economy in the past several weeks. As small businesses around the nation bore the brunt of the virus outbreak’s effects, Unity Bank was able to proceed with and approve over 950 loans for companies that included Branchburg-based Bellari Home Remodeling, Family Promise of Warren County, a Jersey Mike’s Subs franchise in Flemington, and True & Associates of Westfield, among others. Area bank donates record number of funds to Hunterdon County food pantries

The only banking center headquartered in Hunterdon County is delivering record amounts of aid to neighboring banks in the county -- though these banks are not the financial kind. In early December 2019, employees of the Clinton-based Unity Bank donated $28,500 to 19 food banks across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including three within Hunterdon County.
